Hey Pals, Updates again~!

It is our 4th anniversary reunion dinner. This year we had change location to Restaurant Hakka Yuen. At the same time we celebrated Angie’s 21st birthday on that day. All this was well planned without Angie’s notice.

It all began on 2010 December…. Our Shellee Jie planed this event on facebook by inviting all of us participating on that night 10th January 2011. From the beginning the plan was going to Restaurant Soon Tat (which is same as previous years-2008, 2009, 2010) however because Restaurant Soon Tat closed on Monday therefore Restaurant Hakka Yuen has been chosen.

Happy Rabbit Year 2011

I have read an article regarding Chinese Zodiac 2011 from “Jusco Pearl”.

Now lets me show u the characteristics of those who are born in rabbit year. According to the article sign of the rabbit enjoy being surrounded by family and friends. They are homely people and are popular, compassionate and sincere. Because they try to avoid conflict, they are sometimes seen as pushovers.

Health
Rabbits have relatively poor health in this year. Therefore it is advisable to eat on time and healthily as there is likely to be gastrointestinal problems.

Hie Guys,

It has been a period that this blog has not been updated. Let me review back last year 2010 May till December what has we done.
Hmm…in my memories during May 2010, part of SSD’s was doing their last semester in UCSI University. Of coz, in this period all of us were busy doing studies, final exam, independent project and viva presentation. At the end of August all this task and mission has over.
And finally the day has come all of us have our own activities / vacation / trip…..HOLIDAYSSS!!!

In the year 2010. What SSD has pass through? Busy with University Life? Working Life? Find it out!!!

Okay…

Starting from April to August most of us were busying with our Independent Project. However some of us have done last semester. Of coz not only with IP but also Co-Op and subjects. Finally due date end on August and have VIVA presentation. This VIVA presentation was first time for Accounting students. Good Luck for everyone in Final Exam and IP.

SSD SkyTrek Adventure, Shah Alam!

This event creator is our Little Angie! She invites all of us to join the challenging game at Shah Alam called SkyTrek Adventure. After the YES and NO, there would be 10 persons going for this activity. Started the name from Angie, Abby, Yean Yee, Siew Mun, Sammi, David, Kelvin, Pe Swen, Mei Yee and the Surprise person! Our Dear Shellee Jie! And this event is on 14 March 2010, Sunday.

This Sunday is White Valentine day! What an unexpected and coincidence day that we choose to date with whole gangsta go for an activity! We meet up at 3M, Angkasa Condo and start our journey around 2pm. Before that, let’s read a story about the surprise person! It was started before a week from now:

Shellee Jie said she felt so missing here. She felt her works are stress and bored, so she hope to get a short break (Pity much). She was planning to come KL to visit us. At the same time, she was messaging with Angie (Angie was thinking want to plan the activity and ask around). Then, Angie ask Shellee Jie whether want to come KL on coming weekend. Of course, she heard about the activity was so interesting to her. And she took a little time to consider that. But bad news was the Skytrek on that week was fully booked. Angie was re-arranging the time to this week Sunday! She contact Shellee Jie again and she’s ON! Shellee Jie said she want to give others surprise, so Angie keeps that as a secret!

When we meet up, all people were shocked! They all come with the first word: Eh?! Then, Shellee Jie?! When you coming here? Haa.. Shellee Jie did not came to KL almost half year after her Graduation. Everyone got the surprise and happy to see her.

-The Training-

We were arrived Taman Pertanian at 2:45pm. After paid for the entrance fee RM3 each person and took the shuttle bus service to the SkyTrek entrance; it’s a long way far from the main entrance. That’s bus was fun and we felt like we’re on a roller coaster!

At the reception counter of SkyTrek, we all needed to fill up a Rule and Regulation/Safety form before get the equipment. At around 3:10pm, we started our Adventure training. We choose Big Thrill Adventure because it is medium level. It is suitable for all beginners before they take challenge to Extreme path. Our first stage is climbing the ladder (2 floor height) to the first platform. It’s very high and quite hard part for us because we need to use a lot strength to climb (one of the reason is we always use lift!). Then, we challenged all the thrilling challenges. With some of the platforms reaching the height of 17 meters, feel the adrenaline while crossing the “Crazy Zig-Zag” and flying on the “Sky-crawl” at the Bermuda Triangle. Hold your breath while crossing “The Earthquake“, test your ability to leap at the “Happy Hopper“ and end the adventure with the grand finale, the 100 meters “Wild Revenge“ which will take you to the finishing platform at an exhilarating speed.

We end our activity around 5:10pm where took us around 2 hours duration. David said it too fast for him to end this activity, he felt want to challenge for another round. Yes, this event is unlimited rounds for all challengers, but the time is going late, David hopes to join again next time but is Extreme challenge! Extreme Adventure will be plan in the future.

At 5:30pm, the luckiest us had done all the games before the heavy rain! Everyone very enjoying this event! Excited! Fun! Hope we all will meet again on next challenge!

Penang Heat Trip 3D2N

The idea of Penang trip was started since last year 2009 during the long holiday (Check back to Facebook) and soon this topic started on 4th of Jan (the first day of college re-open) We all (SSD) gathered at Old Town to meet each other, at the same time discussed about this event.

4/1/2010
The event of this trip was also posted on Facebook inviting and informing all of us. Any comment and problem will discussed at there. Jackie and Angie do a lot of research on Penang map deciding the place to visit and eat.
Finally we managed to gather 10 people. There were (Car1) Abby, Jackie, Angie, Eva, YY (Car2) Stanley, Mei Yee, Nicole, Sammi, Wymun.
As usual over gathering place would be at Angkasa Condo -3M- (9AM)

----Journey Began----

30/1/2010
On that day, Nicole was most early reach to meet us and she waited us for half an hour. (not v late, is she come early…haha!!!! =P) Soon they saw Stanley car coming pick them up. Since Abby Gor want to have breakfast before depart while waiting for YY and Eva coming. So Car2 depart to Penang.

During the journey, YY received a telephone call from Penang (the agent for the apartment we would be staying)
The conversation began:
Agent: Hello~ Would u guys coming n wat time will arrive?
YY: Oh! Ya! We were on the way to Penang. Hmmm…I think around 2-3pm will reach.
Agent: Oh! OK OK… so give me a call when u arrive.
YY: OKIE!

Soon~ ~ ~ We arrived Penang Bridge. Passing by the bridge Angie and Eva was busying capturing picture, while YY and Jackie was watching the scenery.
On the way we go for the apartment we turned wrong way, lucky Abby Gor car have installed a GPS which direct us the way to there.
Finally we reach the apartment but car were still on their way coming. (wow! Abby Gor drive so fast – Too Fast Too Furious – haha…)
After we get the key from the “bao jou po” we load our thing and have a rest before go out for lunch. We have our lunch at Jetty in one of the seafood restaurant.

After our lunch we went to Queensbay Mall for air conditioning (the weather was so hot until we have to go there for cool down) while leisure+ing we took a lot picture (capturing picture all the way)
Around 5pm we decide go to beach but that day the road was so traffic jam. Why lea??? Aiyo! Thaipusam ar! Road get block and caused other road jam. So we cancel our plan and back to apartment play game.

It was 7pm all of us were hungry and we walk to Gurney Plaza (pasar malam) we order a lot of foods and beverages. After dinner we have a short walk and snapping photos before going back to apartment. Abby, Jackie and Eva went out for drink and play “dice” while we staying at apartment play game and watch TV while taking turn to the bathroom (bathroom peak hours XD) Mei Yee, Stanley and Wyman went to sleep after the UNO game while YY, Nicole, Sammi and Angie played Poker (YY – Poker Queen – wahahahaha!!!)

Yippy!!! Today our plan will be visiting a few places. Let’s start from the morning, we went to a food court to have our breakfast (wow! the food selling there was so cheap!)

After breakfast, our first destination is to Penang Butterfly Farm. Entrence fees would be RM10. Inside the farm, there were many different kinds of butterfly flying around.

Next is to Toy Museum, entrance would be RM10. Inside the museum, there were 100,000 kind of different anime which we watched, old time toys, modern toy, etc. It was almost 12pm we went to a stall near Penang Kek Lok Si for lunch, Asam Laksa and sugarcane juice. After that we went up to Kek Lok Si Temple a walk and capturing pictures. Finally it was time to go to beach which locate at Batu Ferringi. Some of us played sand and water while waiting for sunset.

After that we have a short walk at night market along Batu Ferringi and have our dinner at 113 Fried Porridge and Catering. OhYa, today is 31st so Baskin Robbins have 31% discount. We bought a big pile for our tonight desert.
That night Angie was not feeling well and was send to clinic. Soon followed by Mei Yee and Sammi vomited badly.

1/2/2010
The next day, Nicole was the earliest wake up followed by YY and others, around 11am we woke up and packed our luggage and have brunch at Village Coffee Shop.

After our brunch Abby, Jackie, YY, Eva and Nicole went to buy some biscuits at Kim Heang at Jalan Burma while others back to apartment since they not feeling well. On the way we back to apartment YY receive “bao jou po” phone call asked us when we going to check out. OhNo! We were late it is almost 3pm. We Fast Fast Fast pack your things to our car and ready to back to KL.

On 4th Jan YY receive a message from Wendy. From the text was asking where we wanna celebrate ‘G’ B’day?” So we plan to have steamboat on Sunday night.

We try to ask everyone to having dinner together, but it’s impossible to ask them. Some of SSD can’t meet up the time. We try to change plan on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday or Sunday, but there must be some of them will be absence. So plan cancel becoz can’t gather all friends. Since most of them can’t make it on time, we discussed to plan for a small group to celeb’. We chat for this plan on MSN more than an hour and finally decided goes to…. Full House at Sunway Pyramid on Saturday 12pm ^_^
When everything is well discussed, Eva posted up on Facebook. Surprisingly all the members had responded about the event. Looks like Facebook more works than our personal invitation!!! HaHa…
Conclusion was 9 person confirmed join the event.

And… it’s today! Everyone was nicely dresses and waited at Angkasa Condominium 3M. What a nice attitude we all have, we met up on time! Never too late! 12pm we depart from Angkasa Condo to Sunway Pyramid and reached around 12.30pm. We thought there’s no seat for us because it was lunch time. Our lucky star brought the lucky to all of us; we got the seat and were the most nice view special seat in the restaurant. The place is just like were in fairy tales world~ the theme colour is white and its special menu combined some cartoon drawing, comic and story in! The menu not as many as we think, just few of it; our comment for the foods is fine, can be accept~ of course, photos was the important! We took a lot a lot a lot~ a birthday cake for Angie is special; we combined all the small tart and small piece cake! Nice one! Once again, Happy 20 Birthday to Angie!

Genting Trip (3D 2N)

Yoohoo! Mr. Stress gone, who’s coming?! Mr. Holiday of course! After the exam for the semester, we had no ideas for our long holiday. A trip? Where to… At home? Bored… During the bored few days, sudden received a message. It was a sudden suggestion from Eva. “Who want to go Genting for 3D 2N on 3rd -5th Nov?” Just in few day discussions about the plan. We decided! 8 of us were going! We are --- Angie, Eva, Mei Yee, Nicole, Sammi, YY, David and Kelvin.

First day: Angie, Eva, Mei Yee, Nicole Sammi and YY.
We gathering at Angkasa as Mei Yee’s boy boy going to fetch us around 12pm to LRT station.

Of course thanks a lot to him. =)
Then the route starts from Bandar Tasik Selatan to Plaza Rakyat. But it just only 5 of us, because Nicole, she will meet us at Plaza Rakyat. At LTR station, of course photo time! Unavoidable! Around 1pm, we arrived Plaza Rakyat, and sat a while for waiting Nicole. One train passed… two… three… and finally… Nicole! She’s here!

Then a short walk to bus station to get bus ticket. But a bad news for us … Noooo!!! The next bus was at 3pm. As you know, the taxi uncle will come to offer some deals. Taxi uncle offer us to take cab, one of them said: “No need to think lah … our offer always reasonable! Take cab! No problem!” 6 of us, 4 of them agreed for cab. Cab is our choice because our time is precious. What we’re thinking was check-in time for room is 3pm.
We separate in to two groups (Taxi 1: Mei Yee, Nicole, Sammi Taxi 2: Angie, Eva, YY). Taxi 1, sport car! Drift to Genting and be the 1st arrived! Taxi 2, slow and steady cab. No complaints. Hee…

Theme Park Hotel is our place to be. Our room is 5208! After place down our backpacks, someone said: “umm… I’m hungry…Don’t you guys too?” will… that’s Angie! Then others agree to have a tea break at Old Town. We started busy capturing photos, every corner! Even… in the toilet! Haa! After short break, we’re not hanged out but stay in the room playing pair card and UNO! YY, who’s play UNO until get high. =..= About 5pm, we walk to First World, window shopping and taking pictures until 10pm we have our dinner at “Only Mee and friends”. Dinner end… Casino is the next! Just to have a look, no gambling.=P While Angie was sat outside… because… under age lah! Hee… actually she’s not feeling well… Pity Gie =D

Second day at Genting

Second day: All of US!
*tok tok tok*… (Someone knocks the door)…9.30am… Sammi: “must be Kelvin and David!” *Tata! Yeap! They arrived and join the team! Before we hang out, we’re having our breakfast! We had…Hot cups…Snacks…Bread… forgot what else… Hee…! Well… there’s someone still lying on bed --- is Angie. She sleep until 10:30am… why? Guess it~ she felt sleepy because slept late yesterday? No. She not feeling well lar… got read first day story? Hehee… About 11:30am, we move our legs to Theme Park! The ticket we bought 4 all park and 4 outdoor. It’s just very cheap compare with normal price, because we share it! Share something good to get Happy return!

Games start! The very 1st is take photo of course! Then we choose to play Cyclone, Eva…we “catch” her to play with us, because she scare loh! Hehee…we all scare de lar… the little cute car can seat for 4 person… thus we ask Eva to join ask seat for 2 cars. Ngam lar! What happen during the game? Screaming! Nyek-nyek! Afterward, Kelvin, Sammi, YY, Nicole and Mei Yee going to play the Spinning Ribena Cups! Then… Sammi and Mei Yee has been BLURRING~ because they meet up two crazy friends which are Kelvin! And YY! Hahaa… follow up was Pirate Ship! Hmm… nothing special, no scary, no screaming… Haa…

Break time, we’re hungry. We stop by one of the stall and having our short break. We had hotdog, milo panas, Pizza (not pizza Hut, is Genting homemade pizza!).

Kelv: Siew Mun, what you order? (He walk closer and check) oh?! Have Nasi Lemak meh?
Nice or not? Look nice eh… *Angie joins the chat to ask Kelv try it. Can I try?
Kelvin picks up the spoon and tries some.
Kelv: *Um~ Um~ (nice look face) So Nice~! Hou seik o~! I want!
Nic: I told you, it really nice!
Kelv: I want to order one.
Then Kelvin continues: Actually I act je…Hahaa…it’s not very nice lar…but jiu shi hou seik!
Haa…when hungry, everything is nice. At last he gets one nasi lemak. He keeps on makan even when Angie asks everyone smile for a photo take. (Check the photo album! You may know!) Haa…

Bad and bad, the weather gets bad! It’s started rain! What we do is just seat and waits. For that reason, Theme Park closed all the activities. No choices, we head back to First World. Again, food court for another break. Hahaa… foods again! We’re happy with having foods! This time we buy desert, chicken rice and asam laksa. Since it was still raining, rain heavily! Theme Park is fully closed! We can’t play at Theme Park, so we went back to hotel play UNO card and rest.

Around 5pm, rain stopped, YY, David and Kelvin continue head to Theme Park for the next activities, Dinosaur World! Because they want to play gou gou li! Where’s other? On bed for saving and charging energy for tonight activities! Hee…

Our dinner time is around 7.30pm, at first we went to “Hou Mei” but the foods not suitable for us. Kelvin said: “not nice o… can change place?” We agreed! But no one dare to stand up for leaving. “Kelvin, you go 1st then we follow.” “Okay lo. Together.” Kelvin replied. Whole group stand up and straight leave. A bit paiseh lar… hahaa… finally we enter “Restaurant Causeway Bay”. After dinner, we separate into 2 groups. Which David, Eva and YY enter Casino; Sammi goes meet Wyman while Angie, Mei Yee, Nicole and Kelvin played indoor Theme Park. The funniest they played was the Bumper Car! As you know, Genting activities will closed around 12am… except Casino is for 24 hours services. No activities, we head back to hotel room for our self service activities.

Around 1am we start played Saidina (Monopoly) while waiting Sammi coming back, Mei Yee bought 3 lands and manage to conquer the whole game and she was the winner. Hurray~!!! 0

On second round Saidina, Mei Yee out the game but Sammi join. Declare Bankrupt start from David >>> YY >>> Nicole >>> Sammi. And the winner is Kelvin! Saidina! 5:05am, the time we end the game. Kelvin told us that no need bed, since we need to wake up early. But at last, we all in dream. Haa!

Third day trip
We woke up at around 10.30am to have our breakfast cup noodle and prepare to check-out at 12pm.
David, Kelvin Sammi and Mei Yee will goes down by car while Angie, Eva, Nicole and YY will take bus.

2009 - Last member turn to 21st

Yohoooo!!! Finally final exam has over mean that this short semester has over. On 28th October, some of us were having Retail Marketing and Financial Accounting 3 exam on 10am. Once the clock strikes to 12pm, we were free and no more stress. We decide to celebrate at Sushi King at Leisure Mall after 2 weeks hardworking.

For our EVA, today was her 21st Birthday; we plan to celebrate at Restaurant Tasty Pot at Sunway which planned a week before.

Happy Mid Autumn - Pot Luck

Happy Mid Autumn (中秋节) falls on 03 October. SSD’s plan to have a reunion dinner since everyone has been missing. This suggestion was given by Wendy since mid of August and finally this plan works on 3trd of October. The place of gathering was at Angie house (Angie house has become a place for SSD’s to gathering / reunion). There is a condition that everyone has to cook one dish of meal come. So before the day come, everyone was thinking what have to cook.

On that day around 7pm some of us has arrived gathering while waiting others come they played XBOX. Finally we started our dinner at 8pm but Kelvin was busying playing XBOX game. Sadly, Eva and Jeny can’t join us because they have work and another activity.

After the dinner JC and Siew Mun played Redident Evil 5 while all of us sitting there watching both of them play. It was like watching movie screaming here and there. JC scream the loudest when the zombie comes, while Kelvin was directing Siew Mun to shoot Zombie.
Kelvin: shoot here…. Your left side… your right side…faster run…you almost die…don’t pick the money…
JC: AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Everything was started on 28/9/09. YY receive a message from Eva said that lets celebrate Jeny Birthday. Eva asked YY to "gau tim" the whole thing. So YY started texting mesage and MSN all SSD's members invited them to join the celebration at Sin Mei Steamboat on 29/9/09. SSD's always has the spirit, no matter how buzy, they will spend some times on every friend's.

On that day 29/9 all of SSD was having mid term examination until late evening 6.30pm. After exam some of them rush back to condo bath and change cloth, while Eva and Mei Yee go to Sin Mei because we has date Jeny on 7pm. There was a surprise for Jeny which she dont know other SSD'd member was coming. She thought only Eva, Mei Yee and YY. But when Jeny saw Eva booked so many seat she started to be suspect is it SSD 's were coming but Eva told her that YY 's family was coming here to have dinner together.

Around 7.30pm everyone arrived, Jeny saw YY coming up with Abby, Angie, David. Kelvin, Sammi and Wendy. Soon we started our steamboat ordering 5 people meal and get a free steamfish. While waiting the foods to cooked we chated and have alot of jokes and also taking pictures.

David's Turning Point To 22

Hulala... Hulala... Years passed so quickly, almost most of the member was in Year 3. For this semester short period, everyone was busying with assignment, presentation and mid term. But never forget that this month one of our member has turn to 22. On 17 September, we planned to celebrate his Birthday at Kaki Corner Cafe without his knowledge. Before that we told him that we have a gathering. Around 8 pm David, Wendy, JC, Nicole and Sammi has arrived while waiting Kelvin, YY, Angie, Abby and Jackie they order foods. Soon they arrived and start eat dinner and chit chat. In the cafe there have two performance singing, Kelvin requested the performance sing a HAPPY BIRTHDAY song when they saw the birthday cake.

After Wendy’s celebration everyone was busy doing revision. This semester was very stressful because some of them were taking 5 to 6 subjects. 2 weeks studying with not enough proper sleep.

WOW!!! SSD members were so hardworking.

Finally 21st August come and was the last paper last day final exam. Hurray~!!!

Another SSD member turn to 21st, she is Wendy. (^_^) 1 month before her birthday she invited all of us attended to her birthday party at Samosa. Her birthday was on 7th August but that period everyone was having their final exam, so everything was planned on 1st August. That night everyone has a lot of fun. After the party ends, some of them went clubbing.

30th July 2009 – Shabu Shabu

YY “dai yat zi” has come. Today is her 22nd. As we have planned go to Restaurant Shabu Shabu at Puchong on 31st July. That day all of us gather at Angkasa Condo 3M around 6pm. While waiting others to come some of them chatted and takes photos. Soon everyone arrive and we set off.

Car 2 and 3 arrived around 7 pm. We bought the ticket and started eating while waited Car 1 arrived. Until 8 pm, Car 1 people not yet arrive. What happen to them? Oh No!!! They got to the wrong direction. (Don’t know where they turn) Finally around 9 pm they arrived. Gosh they took 3 hours from Cheras to Puchong.

22nd July 2009 – Lunch

Who is SSD Chef??? Can you all guess? It is Sammi (Mi Lui). She planned to cook lunch for SSD so she invited all of us to Angie house. Angie house is always the place for us to have gathering or event. That day early in the morning Mei Yee and Sammi went to ECONSAVE bought some vegetables. After that both of them went back to condo to cook the foods. Sammi was the chef and Mei Yee as the assistant. Around 12 pm YY and Eva reached Angie house, followed by Nicole, JC and Kelvin. We waited patiently for Sammi and Mei Yee who were busying cooking the foods. While angie's mom was kind enough to provide us with rendang chicken. At 1pm
things has settle down and as we eat our lunch, we were discussing about our next gathering which is to "Shabu Shabu". YY and JC left early because they had presentation at 2 pm.

18th July 2009 – Convocation

One of our member has graduate since 2008 and today (18th July) is her convocation. She is our Shellee Jie. She going to wear “square cap” and get a certificate B.Sc (Hons) Biotechnology. Hurray!!!

2 weeks before the convocation Shellee invited all of us (SSD) attend her convocation. During that day, all of her “di di and mui mui” come support her. We gave her a bouquet of flowers and teddy bear. Of course will never forget take group pictures. (Smile :) *Click*)

After the convocation ended some of us went to Leisure Mall Starbuck Coffee. Abby, Angie, David, JC, Kelvin, Nicole, Sammi and Wendy were at there eating, drinking and chating.

After “yum cha” over we planned to go for a dinner at Yulek Shun Dak. We continue our long chat. Almost one whole day “SSD” were along together since some of us dint meet each other for a long period.

9th July 2009 – SSD Gathering at Satay Kajang and Open Range

After the mid term exam we planned a gathering “SSD Gathering”. All SSD members are invited to eat SATAY at Kajang. Only Abby, Angie, David, Eva, Mei Yee, Sammi, Wendy, Wendy's sis and YY are going there.

1st Round.
We reach Satay Kajang around 7pm and started to order 80 stick chicken and 20 stick beef. We eat, chat and take photos. ^__^

2nd Round
After satay we planned to go for a drink at Open Range (Sg. Long). We eat again.

23 June 2009 - Mei Yee 21st Birthday

This year another 1 more member turn to 21st. Who was that? Oh~! Is Lee Mei Yee. We planned to go Tenji on that day Tuesday. However not all of us are going because most of our members are having mid term and classes only Angie, Eva, Sammi and YY were going. All of us don’t know how to go there so we follow Google Map!!! During the journey we turn to the wrong direction and finally we went to police station to ask the policeman. Finally, we reach there “Tenji Japanese buffet” and we started to EAT!!! (YUMMY).

At the early of the month new semester started, the first week everyone was busy going to the financial office to settle the fees, finding School of Head to get advice and approving subjects. Nevertheless, we never forget our youngest member in this gang birthday. Who is that person??? Hmmm… It is Angie and she has turned to 19’s. We planned to celebrate her belated birthday at One Some Café.

In 19 January, SSD have a reunion dinner at Soon Tat Restaurant. By 7 pm some of us have arrived, we chat and laugh while waiting for others. The foods which has order were “lou shang’’ and 7 types of dishes and a bottle of red vines.

On 6th of February, JC has invited all of us to her house. What the purpose??? Oh~! Is her belated 21st birthday. (Actually JC birthday falls on 13 March but she held it early because on that period everyone will busy in assignment, presentation and final exam). That night her house was full of her friends, relatives and gifts

There was a small surprise for Kelvin on 16th of March. The whole story was started from Sammi asked Kelvin have lunch in Block B (our college cafeteria). When Kelvin comes everyone pretend talking and laughing without his notice. Suddenly from behind David pop out with a cake and all of us sang the song “Happy Birthday”. He was so embarrassed that everyone was looking at him.

Finally, comes to the day of steamboat 23 April. It was the last day final exam for most of us. We decided plan it at Angie’s house. On that day, Angie, Kelvin and Sammi bought a lot of foods included meat ball, vegetables, “fu zuk”, fruits and ice cream. That night Abby, Angie, David, Jackie, JC, Kelvin, Sammi, Tiffany, Wendy, Wyman and YY attended the steamboat while others did not attend because they having exam on the following days.

Hello all SSD humans! As you may know, last Saturday was our David's birthday. 21st Brithday mind you! This means that he is OLD! Haha. Nope, he's growing up to be a more matured man now (David, say thank you).
We were all invited to his house for the celebration. Everyone dressed up handsome and pretty except for 1 person(I don't wana tell who it is). So here are some pitures that night:

I'm so terribly sorry for taking such a long break to post new stuff. As all may realise, we've celebrated 3 SSD member's Birthday in August. Happy Birthday to all of them.

The very first 1 is our beloved YY. This girl is so not "sing muk"(muahahaha). People want to celebrate her birthday, she want to go and get CMA notes from her friends. So funny. We celebrated her birthday in McD. We had fun eating our food and dipping french fries into ice-cream. Yummeh! Owh and that same day, Wendy made herbal tea for all of us. Good job Wendy!!!

The next one was Wendy's birthday celebration. We did it in Angie's house. We totally bluffed her into coming to Angie's house. We jumped out suddenly and started singing Happy Birthday. I hope she was surprised though. We had a lot of food like nuggets from Sammi, chicken chop by Angie and many more. Not forgetting me reading the subtitle of some not-nice Malaysian chinese show which no one watches. Haha.

Last but not least, it's our ever cute Siew Mun's birthday. We bluffed her to come to Free & Ez but I think she knew we had a plan. But anyways, we just want to celebrate for her right? We ordered our food and chit-chatted and Wendy who acted like she wana "lao sai" went to get the cake. We bought Siew Mun a soft-toy dog which is awesomely cute. I would take it if she doesn't want. Haha. We made her feed us her cake. It's so funny to see how everyone eat the cake that she was feeding. Oh and we fed her as well. As usual, we would make messes on birthday girl/guy's face. It's just very fun to see that.

We made an alliance with Shellee's programme's friends to give her a surprise celebration yesterday night. The plan was for her friends to ask her out for dinner and then d whole SSD gang barge into the steamboat restaurant to shock her intensely.

We followed our original plan to barge into the restaurant and gave her a surprise. We took our seats while the next surprised is being carried out. Just so you know, we invited her mother all the way from Johor to give Shellee a big surprise. When we were all seated down for a moment, Wendy went near Shellee and closed her eyes. The cake was already in front of her as well as her mum. We were all shouting "Lengzhai o, lengzhai! Kiss her Kiss her!!!". She was freaking out, I could see. Once she opened her eyes, she could not believe herself that her mum was actually in front of her. We sang the Birthday song and they hugged and they kiss(no lah they didn't). Some of Shellee's friends had tears in their eyes because of that touching moment.

We continued eating then in amongst ourselves because we actually had 3 tables full of people. Halfway through our food and tonnes of camwhoring, we gave her another surprised by giving her her present. No birthday boy or girl should be left without a present. Well, we didn't really know what to get for her, so we decided to be a little old-fashioned and gave her angpows instead. We put inside a UCSI envelope and all the angpows with and without money inside. It's just to give her a prank actually.

We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly because we are celebrating our Big Sis's birthday and this is my 1st time celebrating for her as well.

Just a snapshot of what happened that night~

Operation Sammi

So, we went to Malacca for a short holiday. I hope all of you enjoyed yourselves because I did, very much. You can definitely check out all the Malacca Trip posts on my blog or jz click on Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3. Sorry for being quite lazy because I don't want to write the same thing for 2 times. However, during the Malacca Trip, we celebrated Sammi's birthday at night. We indeed gave her a big surprise(I hope) by putting on a big drama to crush her dreams of us celebrating her birthday. Nyahaha.

The three main casts are Angie, Kelvin, and Shellee. Of course with the co-operation of Wendy and David, the thing went on smoothly. It all started during dinner where Angie and Kelvin had a fight in the car. So both of them did not show a happy face while eating, although it was nice. Sammi being as blur as she always is, just never realised that.
We had to purposely change car to make sure she realise something is wrong. Then Angie and I pretended that we were arguing outside while Shellee was the "peacemaker". Some of them were looking at us. At this point, Wendy and David knew our plan and they had to work it out for the cake.
Kelvin ran into the house and banged the door loudly to get everyone's attention while Angie got into the house and started to be emo and she even cried. Everyone was so tensed and Kelvin ran down from his room and started arguing and fighting with Angie. His catch phrase was the ever famous Standard 1 " You don't say sorry, I won't talk to you". Gosh! That's so childish.
I do believe and hope and pray that Sammi realise that we're fighting at this moment. Just as she was trying to comfort Angie and noe knowing what to do, the lights went off and Happy Birthday song was sung unto her.
So yeah! That's our surprise for her this time. Just as she thought nothing would happen, something happened. I hope she liked it.

PS: Sorry for not having any pictures or videos for this whole thing because we didn't want it to be known by people. Out of all who went, ony 5 to 6 people know because they were involved.

Events Highlights - January to March 2008

So, for the past 3 months, there were many events that happened just in amongst our gang.

The very 1st month was our beloved Angie's Birthday where we had it at Neway. It was a surprise(we always give surprises), not sure if she knew about it though.

Then in February, where Chinese New Year was around the corner, we had our very own SSD Reunion dinner since we are like a big "family". The night's dinner was held in Soon Tuck. We ate about 8 dishes at a very reasonable rate and everyone was really happy about the event.

The following month, March was our Kelvin's and JC's birthday. We gave them a surprise celebration in One Some Cafe by just asking them to go for lunch. Halfway eating, a cake was brought out and was sung to only JC alone leaving Kelvin alone. After awhile with the hoo-haas with JC, another cake was out for Kelvin this time. After about two weeks, we went out for another lunch again, this time, their presents were presented. JC got a whole set of winter clothings for her overseas studies and Kelvin got a booklet with the SSD memories and our wishes to him. How sweet!

Also, not forgetting Abby's birthday where we celebrated for him in BRJ. A simple yet meaningful celebration just for him. I can definitely see that he was enjoying himself(or not!). Haha.

So that wraps up our first 3 months of the year after one whole year together. Now, most of us are on holidays and we are enjoying our holidays very much. Happy holidays SSD!
